Materials listed will be used for students to use individually as well as in whole group. These hands-on activities are great to use for independent practice because they are having fun and do not seem so much like work. They will also help me provide visuals to enhance learning. I would use them mostly during our calendar time. This is a very important time for us doing a spiral review of skills needed throughout the year. Hopefully making them easier to comprehend when we do learn the lessons. I also have calendar time student lead, where students are leading, teaching each other.
