Our projects often require students to design or highlight their artistic side. We engage in STEAM activities daily. STEAM stands for Science Technology Engineering Art and Math. We combine these ingredients to create an completely engaging, in-depth understanding of our topics. Currently we are studying changes to Earth and landforms. We created a 3D map with physical landform features. I am new to this classroom and I’m starting in the middle of the year. I don’t have a home room class, so needless to say their supplies are dwindling if not completely gone. There are 4 3rd grade and 4 4th grade classes a week. Each class meats twice a week for two different projects.
