Imagine having the perfect answer for a question, but you need to write it in a language you do not know! This awful feeling of frustration and desperation happens to my children every day. My students are diagnosed with learning disabilities; and having this type of disability is like trying to communicate in a different language with a foreigner: extremely difficult and frustrating. Because you know what you want to say, but people don’t understand you. After the pandemic I learned how technology could help my students. By giving them more options that just the classic pen and paper they found a way to be free from feeling desperate. Canvas studio opened the possibility to record their answers. Unfortunately not everyone has access to a good quality device to record answers. This is where I ask for your help. It would be of great help if you could donate an iPad to the 12th grade ELA resource classroom. Thanks!!
