These bookmarks, pencil grips, wristbands, stickers, decals, charms, and other prizes will be used throughout the rest of the year to inspire students to work hard, put away devices, and focus to fill the gaps before state testing. I hand out tickets during class to promote positive behavior, such as writing down the essential question as class begins, transitioning from activity to activity quickly, passing out/ picking up supplies, etc. It is amazing what teenagers will do to be part of the Friday ticket drawings! I can't wait to see my students grow, develop grit, and create positive habits that can last a lifetime!
