The speech/language therapy team at our school serves many students in each grade level from preschool to 5th grade. Due to the diverse nature of our students' ages and needs, we need ways to organize our materials. The materials on this list will help us so we can focus our energy on providing the best instruction we can for our students. The storage bench will give us much needed space to store learning tools so the students can access those materials easily. The book/binder folders will help us organize the books into different levels and topics so the students can readily choose and access the books that are appropriate for them. The file box will help maintain the students' work so it can be kept in an organized manner. We need ways to help keep speech/language therapy interesting and fun for our students to maximize their learning. The materials will help keep them motivated and provide meaningful and fun therapy so the students are able to effectively learn the skills being taught. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will be used to buy activities related to literacy, comprehension, and communication skills as well as activities for developing articulation and pronunciation skills. The blank story books will be used to work on the students' narrative skills which is a critical skill for the students to be successful in their general education classroom and in life. The books will help bring their stories to life as well as to help students retell stories to practice becoming a better communicators. Bubbles will be used with younger students to remain engaged in various therapy activities. The punch cards will help the students keep up their motivation to participate in therapy activities. Lastly, the amplifier is needed due to mask wearing and will help students hear me better.
