In the classroom, my students will be able to get hands on experience in building and troubleshooting two Ender 3 3d Printers. The goal is to develop problem solving skills- both technical and informational during the build. Ender 3-D printers are very intuitive and are pre-wired in these kits, but the instruction manual is sub-par. There are videos on YouTube that I will be directing students to if they run aground on the build using intuition and the manual. Students will have the opportunity to try this technology from a technical perspective- building the machine, checking the tolerances and balances- as well as from a digital/design perspective. Students will be operating with Tinkercad, Ultimaker Cura and possibly Blender.
