Due to continued pandemic teaching and learning, our students (and teachers) are more stressed out than ever before! One way I want to support the overall well-being of our students is by starting a yoga club at our school. During our Yoga Club, we'll unplug from technology, relax, stretch and move together so that students leave their yoga mats feeling calm, centered, strong, and re-energized. Through the yoga club, I hope to bring some calmness to their stressed-out lives! I purchased mats for our yoga club but am in need of donor support to purchase several other important yoga props -- specifically, yoga bolsters and pose cards. Yoga Bolsters are oversized, firm pillows and they are used for supportive, relaxation poses. The pose cards are a great teaching tool to introduce new yoga poses to students and to engage students in creating fun yoga movement sequences.
