I am teaching Science and the first 30 minutes of our 120 minutes is used for silent sustained reading. During activities we have to track each and every student's progress and answers. We do aggressive monitoring by keeping a tracker with us, where we put check(+) if the student answered correctly, check (-) if they are on track but lacks some information or a check for trying, we give remarks that the students will be able to read for their improvement. Unlike laptops that are so heavy, tablets will help me keep track of their progress easily, as I can roam around with it and be able to do aggressive monitoring easily and organized too. Unlike regular paper that can easily be torn apart or easily lost. During aggressive monitoring we give feedbacks to their papers and remarks where they will be able to see their progress and improvements.
