After completing an aerobic activity, students are always amazed by how fast their hearts are beating. They are very interested in how their heart rate changes from resting to active. We've tried to time and keep track of pulse rates to get an accurate measurement, but that has proven to be difficult. With individual heart rate monitors for each student and a quick touch of a button, children will be able to see, in real-time, just how fast their heart is beating and how it fluctuates depending on the activity. Learning to catch and throw a frisbee is a valuable lifestyle activity that is a part of our PE curriculum, however, the hard plastic standard frisbees are intimidating to our young students. The soft foam frisbees will be a game-changer and will eliminate the fear of getting hurt, and allow them to learn and practice this valuable skill.
