I am requesting some graphic novels in Spanish, including the Bad Guys and the Dog Man series. This year I have several new-to-country students in my English as a Second Language class. We read every day. Staying excited about reading takes books! As the ESL teacher, I want to provide students access to books that are diverse, engaging and in their home language. My students will love to read these high-interest books in Spanish. Help us find our next great book! Help us learn to love reading! Help us find an author or subject we love to read. Help us get excited to talk about reading with our friends and school community. A great library is essential for a classroom. A great library includes diverse books. Great books matter.
