We have one iPad in the classroom and would like to get one for each student. Allowing each student to have their own iPad allows for increased and individualized opportunities for communication and learning. Tablets like iPads are ideal for our students due to their portability and flexibility, and accessibility for our students who have coordination difficulties. There are a variety of communication apps to support our students in expressing themselves. The educational apps help break down learning and are extremely motivating. Extra pandemic bonus: iPads are easy to clean! The cases will ensure our iPads stay durable and the stylus pen will benefit our students during hand-writing activities!
