The students participate in literature circles for the Holocaust Unit I teach. This novel, "Prisoner B-3087", is a popular novel among the students, but we only have enough copies to make two groups. I have four classes, so that means 2 out of my 4 classes can't even experience this novel. I would love to give more students the opportunity to read this novel. By adding this novel to my literature circles, even if the other students don't read it, they will be exposed to it because each group needs to present a panel discussion about the book. This novel can help expand the students' understanding of the Holocaust.
