Through the use of being able to participate in E-Sports tournaments, students will develop skills of teamwork, strategizing, and social improvements. E-Sports allows students to channel their recreational video gaming into something that they can engage at school along with their peers while learning leadership roles, sportsmanship, and communication skills as they play. This is also a way to target students' social-emotional learning throughout the educational system which has been shown to boost students' attendance and increase the momentum of learning in core courses. Academic E-Sports opens the college pathways for many students providing them with 21st-century skills.

About my class
