I have my first two weeks already planned. Every day they are doing a different mini lesson on drawing. "Found Object" will be our first mini lesson that they need to complete. This is inspired by an artist that is on Netflix "Christoph Neimann". The next one they will do is inspired by Julia Rothman where students will sketch things they want to bring into 2022 and things they want to leave this project is called "Less and More 2022" Drawing. I need these sketch books so students can have one thing to keep all their work in. A sketchbook to an artist is more important than the final project itself. This is where artists learn, grow, and develop their skill as a drawer, painter, and creative thinker. In every project we do this semester they will be using their sketch book. This is the most useful material we could have all semester.
