With numbers of COVID-19 cases rising my class is in need of some basic supplies to keep our class and school safe. Such as Clorox wipes, face masks, reusable water bottles, and blue light glasses. In order to continue to keep safe during this time we are asking for Clorox wipes, reusable water bottles, face masks, and blue light glasses. Clorox wipes are a staple in our classroom. We go through 45+ Clorox wipes a day, totaling 225+ wipes a week. Parents and the school do not supply these as they have become a daily staple in our classroom to help keep our class and school safe. Face masks are also something that we go through. Our 2nd grade class goes through countless masks weekly between students breaking the disposable ones or parents not being able to provide them to their child. Proper fitting masks are a necessity to keep our class and school safe and comfortable in these tough times. Our school has shut off the water fountains leaving only water bottle filling stations. With this being said we are in need of reusable water bottles. Many of the students are not able to provide their own. In order to be comfortable throughout the day and stay healthy our bodies need to hydrate and it is difficult when parents can't provide water bottles. Lastly we use a lot of technology in the classroom and the students are on the computer for 2 hours of the school day. As you many know this is very straining on the students eyes so we are asking for blue light glasses to help create a more enjoyable time using these great online learning resources.
