I am requesting two iPads which will help my struggling readers in so many ways. They can practice their sight words or review phonics rules they are struggling with. They can play interactive games that allow them to use the skills taught in the Orton Gillingham Program. I have three groups of students who are dyslexic and theseP will help them build connections between sounds and letters. They will give them hope that things will get easier for them. Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. -- Albert Einstein The apps that can be found on the iPad now are unbelievable and they really help to reinforce what is being taught in the classroom. Many of my students don't own a lap top or an iPad and they don't have opportunities to use them at home.
