What a year...or two?! Students and teachers have experienced so much and we are all in need of ways to encourage positive mental health habits. This is my first year as a counselor-- and I am starting in the middle of the school year! There are so many things that I want to accomplish, and your help will go a long way! Help me get resources to teach kids how to deal with their emotions in a positive way! I would like to create a emotions library with the books in my project. I will allow students to take a break and find the book that matches their emotions. This will help give them words to describe and take control of their emotions. Secondly, I would like to give the students an option to use fidget toys to destress. Lastly, I will use the printer, binder and plastic sleeves to help me print and organize resources!
