At this school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latinx, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households. Student ps are more inclined to engage in learning they can connect with. Help me engage students engage in reading. Students are excited about reading and always want to read new books. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. Student would love to have more options for silent reading time.
