As a rural community, we want our students to participate in hands-on experiences to learn more about Peach County and its resources. We plan to use the egg incubator as a part of our Agriculture curriculum. Students will be able to investigate how organisms change and develop over time as well as chick embryology, life cycles, heredity, and animal needs. By taking care of the eggs and observing the chicks as they hatch, student engagement will significantly increase and students will learn valuable life skills, such as responsibility and cooperation.
