My school has a very high poverty rate and is very much needing in supplies. The students know that they can come to my office for any needs they may have, such as emotional support, clothes, shoes, a few minutes of a break to calm down, to talk about their home life, and so much more. My children love the sensory tools I have in my room, and often pick through the closet in my office for clothes. I try to keep both my closet and sensory tools stocked, but this becomes difficult when there is no funding for these things at the school. My students cannot afford to buy these things and often do not have the money to buy clothes that are appropriate for the weather. I know my students would utilize every item on this list eventually
