Students in our program have a disability or are at-risk for delays in speech, language, or other areas (e.g. academics, cognition, fine/gross motor, etc.). I have chosen books, toys, and visuals that will assist children in communicating more successfully with their peers, teachers, and families. These materials will also bring so much joy to the children as they don't always have exposure or access to literacy and games at home. These games may target turn-taking, problem-solving with friends, pre-literacy skills, requesting, describing, fine motor skills, or understanding of basic concepts such as colors, shapes, and numbers.

About my class
