Students do better when they enjoy what they are doing. Creating every activity from scratch is difficult and time consuming. It would be so helpful to have the resources to look at work from previous experienced teachers and use that to build a great curriculum for my students. Some of the activities that I bought with my personal funds last semester that were a big hit where Pixel Puzzles, which can be done remotely or in class. Answering questions correctly reveals a picture to the student. They get immediate feedback on what they are doing correctly, and what they need to work on. Also, the pictures are cultural so then we can discuss what they revealed and why it is important. Another in-class activity is ¨Citas Cortas¨ which translates to short dates. Framed like speed dating, students have 10 questions on a topic that they ask their partner, then after one minute the partner switches. This is great to get them speaking Spanish.
