When giving my students the choice of flexible seating when it is time for independent work time, it allows them to have freedom and some type of ownership of their choices. I love how students get excited and motivated to want to do their work by simply giving them a small choice of choosing where they’d like to sit. If students feel comfortable and happy they are more motivated to want to complete their work. Giving them a simple choice of the wobble chairs, stools or bean bags gives the students so much more excitement and motivation to want to complete their work.
