My students work one on one with an adult to facilitate and encourage development in both delayed motor skills and language. These toys will help them learn to repeat words and sounds. They will help with sorting and recall. Most of them do not have developmentally appropriate toys at home. They need to have opportunities to use their imagination to build 'monsters' and 'robots' and 'dinosaurs. I chose many magnet toys because the children can use their fine motor grip in fun new ways as they construct their masterpieces every day.
