During the Covid 19 crisis, children need help managing their big emotions. I'm interested in purchasing materials to set up a "Brave" space: A safe place where students can reset by de-stressing and dealing skillfully with their feelings. I believe it's more important than ever to teach to the whole child by implementing Social and Emotional practices (SEL) into school. These skills play a critical role in determining how well equipped students are to meet the academic demands of the classroom. In order for optimum learning to take place, kids need to feel safe, secure and connected.
