Students nowadays learn more if they are actually engaged in the activity. Learning to know, learning to do, learning to live and learning to be is what we are practicing inside my classroom. I love seeing my students discover things on their own as I gave them the materials such as prisms, mirrors and others as they will sort the different colors of visible light according to wavelength and frequency, and then discover visible light's place in the EMS. These materials will help my students to recognize that visible light is made up of waves of different wavelengths. Moreover, in this activity, my students will understand that all colors of light are forms of electromagnetic radiation, but each one has a different wavelength and frequency. This fun and knowledgeable activity will let my students know what makes red light different from blue light. I am excited for everyone to enjoy this, thank you!
