The requested materials will help me teach art more effectively. I integrate art into as many subject areas as possible. I previously taught in Washington state. We studied famous artists and created new pieces of art based on those artists. It exposed students to a wide genre of art and artists. I would like to do the same by studying a famous artist monthly, as well as having weekly art lessons that go hand in hand with our learning objectives. The students in my room love art and look forward to our weekly art day.
