Aside from making really interesting papers from magazines, the students will also be up-cycling old magazines. Additionally, Citra Solv is a natural cleaning supply, so allergies or offensive chemicals won't be an issue. We will use these unique papers in many different ways - from collaging to background materials. My students, as well an my club members, will enjoy this very unusual, creative technique, which can be found on-line by searching "Citrasolv and National Geographic Magazines Make Cool Melty Ink Art Pages". I look forward to sharing this activity with my students!
