Flexible seating options are great for students who struggle to pay attention and stay focused. Many of my students prefer to work on the floor, at standing desks, or on wiggle seats. This allows them a level of comfort that results in the ability to be more focused on their task. Students are much more engaged in classroom tasks when they are comfortable and able to focus. I would like to incorporate the wiggle bounce bands, weighted balance balls, and rolling balance ball stool to the collection of flexible seating we have in the classroom. This will allow more students to benefit from these valuable tools.
