Students entering first grade this year have missed many experiences typically gained in Kindergarten. These materials will stock a rotation of bins made available to students as part of a morning routine. The bins have a mixture of literacy, art, math and mindfulness/puzzle activities By starting our mornings with hands on learning bins, or Breakfast for Our Brains, students can start their days with independent activities that challenge them, encourage creativity and reinforce social and academic skills. Their creativity and fearlessness amazes me every day. Their pride and smiles start the day off right
