Students will be creating their own robots to complete originally designed tasks. Students will also 3D print functional parts to complete their robots. In a chemistry classroom, this project will intersect coding, engineering design, circuitry, metals and semiconductor chemistry, and plastics chemistry. I hope that this project will require collaboration utilizing a wide variety of engineering skillsets, and inspire students to become engineers and be creative. I also hope that it will allow students to learn about chemistry, specifically how chemical structures can contribute to the function of larger devices.

About my class
