I am so excited to be joining the 4th Grade team at Wilder! I have been working in the building as a para and have really gotten to know the 4th-grade students. As a new teacher, jumping in halfway through the year, I am in desperate need of books! I want my students to have access to books within my classroom to help encourage a love of reading. These books will be for my students to read within the classroom during readers' workshop and free reading time. Books such as Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The One and Only Ivan, and so many more have the power to take students into other worlds! Literature also teaches students about the world around them, grow in language acquisition, and increases literacy. You can be a part of that. Thanks!
