The requested items will help my students feel safe and calm in their general education classroom. My students are easily stressed when in a classroom with 30 other students and have difficulty with focus. The weighted vests and lap pads help them feel secure, as if they are being hugged. The specialty seating will help students when they are stressed or overwhelmed. They will be used in our sensory room when my students need a break from their classroom. They are able to take a short break and then return to their classroom.
