I have many students who have a hard time sitting still in their seats while working. Many people (myself included) love being able to stand up while working. I'm at my own standing desk right now! These desks will allow students to sit or stand when needed while they are working so they can be their most productive. It also gives better seating options for group work when necessary. The hanging files and pencil holders will keep all their supplies handy so they don't ever need to leave their space or the classroom to be prepared. I currently have one set of standing desks for 4 students and they are the most sought out seating option in my classroom. Plus, the kids in the back of the room can now easily see the board by having a good view above everyone in front of them. So all of the demonstrations I do and hands-on visuals I use will be easier to see by all.
