I can color code my lessons and annotate on notes and documents, much like I could in a face to face classroom. This has helped my students the most. When our district decided to initiate remote learning so much of the benefit and simplicity of face to face instruction was lost. While there is no substitute for that, this has helped simulate the classroom experience as closely as possible. With the uncertainty that comes with teaching in a Pandemic, my students deserve a teacher that is able to easily adapt. This iPad and stylus will ensure my students will get the high quality instruction they deserve whether we are meeting virtually or face to face. Additionally these tools will allow me to post classroom notes on their Google Classroom complete with my annotations after each day for students who are absent or in need of a review. While some of my students are performing at grade level, several students are working hard to catch up to their peers. These tools will help me differentiate my instruction to reach each and every student on their level.
