Because of the pandemic, my students have huge gaps in their learning. This project will help my class receive math manipulatives that will help them understand math concepts. Some of my students have a really hard time with math and are very far behind. These manipulatives are going to help so much! I also have students who are lower in reading, and getting these new books will be so helpful! I have a wide variety of students who enjoy a variety of books. This will help me get them books that they enjoy reading. The pandemic didn't hurt our children academically but has put them behind emotionally. I have a class that is very emotionally young. Because of the pandemic, they have missed out on opportunities to learn how to play with others, deal with emotions, and how to deal with difficult situations. I want to purchase books that will teach them how to deal with their emotions.
