Children need strong social-emotional skills in order for them to participate and interact well with others at school and in their community. A lot of the children that I service with developmental delays, especially children with Autism, have delayed social-emotional skills. Strong social-emotional skills are vital for developing social skills and integrating well in the community. With these books and games that I would like to purchase, I will be able to strengthen my students ability to identify their emotions and emotions in others, develop empathy, make good decisions in social situations, and solve problems more effectively.

About my class
