This project is for a language translator that will increase understanding of students' individualized education programs which is so important for students to have successful outcomes. The parents will feel empowered to participate if they feel they are being understood and listened to. Our special needs students have suffered setbacks during this pandemic/remote learning and this would be one small way to increase learning and understanding, also participate in their educational program. At this school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latinx, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households. We want to increase academic achievement.

About my class
