Students are very excited to learn about electricity. They can relate it to their everyday lives. They want to learn more about how circuits work. More importantly, they want to build their own circuits. Students are happy to learn how to construct a battery and a circuit using lemons. They can alter the voltage output of their battery by adding cells or experimenting with different metals in order to light an LED. They will work in groups in the classroom and will advise each other before and during the lab.
