Although I am a tenured teacher, I can’t help but to feel those “first year teacher” jitters! I’m making the move from 5th grade to 5th grade Science- which has always been my dream! I have a vision I’m trying to make a reality. One where my students are engaged in hands-on STEM activities, using microscopes and modern technology, learning to Code, and assist in the prep and cleanup throughout the year. Middle School is filled with curiosity and emotions. When you provide a classroom with a certain smooth and inviting vibe, the students prosper. Student will also learn to thrive in a more traditional setting- it can’t be all fun and games after all. By using a variety of teaching strategies, I’ll be able to reach multiple learning styles. Teaching isn’t for everyone, but it is absolutely my calling in life. Help me make my vision come reality. Thank you 😊
