Music is an essential part of every student's general education. As a music educator, I believe that it is my role to provide creative, organized, up-to-date instruction to help every student uncover his or her own aptitude and possibilities for achievement. I prepare them to become music scholars, critical listeners, composers, and music performing artists. Our middle school band program is currently in its twentieth year, and has grown to include over 120 performers. Students participate in a variety of ensembles, including concert band, pep band, percussion ensemble and choir.
