Students are forced to sit in classrooms all day and learn. Different needs require different seating. The use of standing desks will cater to students who require more movement to focus and learn. In a heavy reading class, students often get too tired to sit and we have had much success in allowing them to stand, but do not have the resources to make students more comfortable. With cases like ADD and ADHD becoming more common, different options for class participation are a must. Thank you for considering this project, a sure way to impact the reading atmosphere in the classroom.
