Some of our students come from difficult backgrounds. Positive reinforcements are the best way to motivate them to work hard and learn. We are able to create a safe space where they feel they can be themselves and learn. There are times when they come to class already stressed from what the day is going to bring and having things like a stress ball or fidget toy really helps them. Reading is also extremely important to our class. The more books we have the more our students will be encouraged to read and build up their fluency.

About my class
