I am requesting seat sacks which are a great way for students to organize their belongings. I teach 27 5th graders that are working on getting ready for middle school. With that, includes a lot of organizational skills as they transition to their next level of schooling. Our classrooms have minimal storage and our desks do not include storage. Students are required to keep their supplies organized and easily accessible. At this time without storage in desks, students need to frequently move about the classroom to gather their items. Seat sacks allow students to organize and keep track of their belongings while they are easily accessible. Fifth grade is the bridge between elementary and middle school. Sometimes it is a tough year. We try to do everything we can to get our students ready for 6th grade and send them with the organizational skills necessary to find success.
