As a brand new teacher, I do not have the funds to provide for my kids the pleasure of holding a book in their hands as we study a novel together. With any help, I want to give them that chance to hold a book, follow along, read with me, and grow as emerging leaders. I believe there is nothing more powerful than to hold and read a tangible book and to study it, learning why/how/what the author is doing, asking questions, and thinking back a decade later on these books with a feeling of nostalgia and fondness for the opportunity it gave them to grow.

About my class
