I currently have only a small TV in a large science room-- that is the only way I can present lessons and play videos in my classroom. It is very difficult to view from most of my room. I do not have nearly enough Chromebooks for all of my students to have access to technology in the classroom at the same time, so often presenting it to the entire class at once is my only option. Our science room could use a larger TV that I can hang in front of the room to play videos, presentations, and online learning apps and games. A new, larger TV will be a significant benefit to all of my students, not just my ESL kids. Being able to see science concepts such as Earth's landforms and structures, the planets in space, layers of our atmosphere, etc., during class discussions will help keep my students engaged and motivated to learn. Please help my budding scientists see what Earth and Space Science is all about!
