This project will help students learn by enriching their creative minds, allowing them to use art materials to advance their mathematical, scientific, and comprehension skills. Additionally, an organized classroom environment helps students feel safe and develop a routine, which adds to their positive learning experience. Students can use these resources to create math manipulatives, complete visual projects in social studies (like our state fair project), and organize their cumulative folders. Additionally and specifically, students will use the materials to add visual effects to writing pieces hung up in the hallway and create the "Fire Safety" educational experience and poster. Students deserve to enter a classroom each day that will allow them to learn productively and use materials they want and need. Also, parents and families should not feel pressured to provide all necessary materials for students, especially if they need to prioritize their finances in other ways.
