This 3D printer will help enhance a hands-on learning experience, where students can build, design and craft their own work. The 3D printer can then be used to print out the students designs that they create and they can use them in a final project. For example, students may be studying a habitat and they can build their habitat and build an animal to live in that habitat. The students would need to engineer and figure out the proper supports to print this item. This helps to increase rigor in the classroom and connect to our engineering standards. Teachers are also able to print items to share with students in classes to use with lessons as class artifacts to help build the nature of a hands-on classroom experience.
