We will use these materials to create a play space where scholars are excited to be. No more "I'm bored" or "what can we play?"... Using these materials, myself, my school staff, my junior coaches, and every person (young, or let's in our school community will be able to develop recess plans to support positive experiences on our small (but mighty) playground. There is an endless amount of social emotional learning to do while giving scholars a space to have agency in what they do. We will be using these materials to develop leadership in our oldest love bugs, by letting them own the space and build relationships with our younger kiddos. The younger scholars will benefit from these materials by having a clearer (color coded) depiction of boundaries, as well as having more fun opportunities to play games and use imagination with their adult leadership.
