Our first grade students require a very hands-on, active classroom. When small group instruction occurs they need both verbal and visual input. Many students require help with starting good sentences, spelling words that are not on our sight words list, and seeing patterns in vocabulary instruction. The addition of a dry erase cart to the class would enhance their learning environment.
